DMFI PAC today announced it will begin airing a new ad that highlights Republican Jeff Van Drew’s self-interested record as a United States Congressman. After claiming he was running to “hold Trump accountable” he switched parties and pledged “undying support” to Trump and voted against accountability for taxpayer-funded COVID-19 relief funds.
DMFI PAC has endorsed his opponent, Amy Kennedy, in the race for New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District. Mrs. Kennedy is a former public-school teacher, mother of five, and helps run a mental health care advocacy organization. She would flip a congressional seat from red to blue, strengthening the Democratic Majority in the House.
“Amy Kennedy is an accomplished educator, mental health advocate and community leader,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “She is also a steadfast supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship,” Mellman added. “We are thrilled to support her candidacy against a Democrat turned Republican who boasts about his undying support for President Trump.”
The ad buy will run on digital and streaming platforms in the district.
