DMFI PAC today announced its first slate of non-incumbent congressional endorsements of the 2026 election cycle, kicking off DMFI PAC’s Majority Project and marking an important step in the organization’s efforts to elect pro-Israel Democrats and help secure a Democratic House majority.
DMFI PAC’s Majority Project focuses on electing Democrats who stand with Israel as a democratic ally, are committed to confronting antisemitism and extremism, and recognize the U.S.–Israel relationship as a vital national security partnership — while remaining squarely focused on winning elections. With control of the House expected to hinge on a small number of races, it is essential that Democrats nominate candidates who can both win in November and govern effectively.
In competitive districts, DMFI PAC is backing candidates who have demonstrated the ability to build broad coalitions and win tough general elections in November, which is essential to delivering a Democratic majority. In those safe Democratic races, DMFI PAC is focused on supporting candidates whose views on Israel reflect where most voters are: broadly supportive of Israel as a democratic ally and of the U.S.–Israel relationship as a core pillar of American foreign policy. DMFI PAC’s research consistently shows that this remains the mainstream position among Democratic voters and the American public.
“Winning back the House requires Democrats to nominate candidates who can build broad coalitions and win in November,” said Brian Romick, Chair of DMFI PAC. “These endorsements reflect that reality. DMFI PAC is the only organization focused on electing Democrats to the majority while also ensuring pro-Israel Democrats can win in competitive primary and general elections.”
“These endorsements reflect our belief that supporting Israel and winning elections go hand in hand,” said Kathy Manning, former congresswoman and DMFI PAC board member. “The U.S.–Israel relationship has long been a bipartisan pillar of American foreign policy because it’s critical to our security and intelligence capabilities – and it remains a view shared by the majority of Democratic voters. DMFI PAC is proud to support candidates who reflect those values and who can help strengthen the Democratic caucus in Congress.”
