DMFI PAC backs Jasmeet Bains (CA-22) and Marni von Wilpert (CA-48)

DMFI PAC today announced two additional congressional endorsements in key red-to-blue races for the 2026 cycle, backing Dr. Jasmeet Bains in California’s 22nd District and Marni von Wilpert in California’s 48th District as part of DMFI PAC’s Majority Project — the organization’s effort to elect pro-Israel Democrats and help secure a Democratic House majority.

DMFI PAC’s Majority Project is the only effort focused on electing Democrats who stand with Israel as a democratic ally, are committed to confronting antisemitism and extremism, and recognize the U.S.-Israel relationship as a vital national security partnership — while remaining squarely focused on winning back the House. With control of the House expected to hinge on a small number of races, it is essential that Democrats nominate candidates who can both win in November and govern effectively.

“Jasmeet Bains and Marni von Wilpert exemplify the kind of candidates we need — pro-Israel leaders who can connect with voters, build winning coalitions, and help strengthen the Democratic majority. Both are facing extreme primary opponents who are out of step with their districts, and both are fighting to flip critical red seats blue. Our endorsements reflect our confidence in their leadership and their ability to help strengthen the Democratic majority,” said DMFI PAC Chair Brian Romick.

“I’m grateful for DMFI PAC’s support in this critical campaign to take back the House from Trump,” said Marni von Wilpert (CA-48). “Here in San Diego, we’ve witnessed the deadly consequences of antisemitism, including the fatal white supremacist attack on the Poway Chabad Synagogue, and I’ve worked to stand up for tolerance and safety in every way I can. I believe leadership means standing by our values — defending democracy, opposing Trump’s attacks on our institutions, and speaking out against hate.

“In Congress, I’ll work to strengthen the historic U.S.-Israel relationship that protects both nations’ security and fight for a two-state solution essential to delivering safety, peace and dignity to Israelis, Palestinians, and the entire Middle East,” added von Wilpert.

These endorsements build on DMFI PAC’s earlier announced red-to-blue support for Shannon Bird (CO-08), Cait Conley (NY-17), Paige Cognetti (PA-08), Janelle Stelson (PA-10), Johnny Garcia (TX-35), and Elaine Luria (VA-02).
