Today, DMFI PAC announced its endorsement of nine pro-Israel candidates running for the Democratic nomination in key U.S. House primaries during the first half of the year, a majority of whom are facing at least one anti-Israel opponent, and all of whom stand with Israel in its war against the Hamas terrorist regime.

“Every Democrat DMFI PAC is endorsing today strongly supports the enduring U.S.-Israel relationship and, once elected, will oppose placing additional conditions on U.S. aid for Israel as it seeks to disarm and dismantle Hamas,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “With the future of our democracy at stake, it’s imperative that Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives, and we’re thrilled to support this slate of public servants who will be pivotal in that effort.”

“I am pleased to accept the endorsement of DMFI PAC,” said Former Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates Eileen Filler-Corn (VA-10). “The Democratic Party has long supported a robust U.S.-Israel relationship, and I appreciate all the work that DMFI PAC continues to do to strengthen that bond.”

“DMFI PAC has done immeasurable work to promote peace between Israel and its neighbors in the region,” added Joanna Weiss (CA-47). “I am honored to have the support of DMFI PAC, and I pledge to stand with Israel when in Congress.”

Of the nine candidates endorsed today by DMFI PAC, seven are running in districts listed as competitive by the Cook Political Report, with five running against incumbent Republican Members of the House. Three of the DMFI PAC endorsees are facing off against anti-Israel opponents, including in toss-up races where such positions are well outside the mainstream and could likely alienate voters in November.

The candidates endorsed by DMFI PAC today include:

In the 2021-22 election cycle, DMFI PAC-endorsed candidates won more than 80% of their races, helping bring 21 new pro-Israel Democrats to the 118th Congress. Some 77% of its independent expenditure dollars last cycle supported candidates of color.

In addition to the candidates endorsed today, DMFI PAC has endorsed 82 members of Congress, including Rep. Adam Schiff in California’s Senate race, as well as former Representative Tom Suozzi in the special election in NY-03 to replace disgraced former Congressman George Santos. Additional endorsements will follow. A full list of DMFI PAC endorsees is available here.
