Following DMFI PAC’s first wave of general election endorsements and a successful primary season during which DMFI PAC helped pro-Israel Democrats win 85% of the races where it endorsed, DMFI PAC today announced its second slate of endorsements for the 2022 General Election. The 29 endorsements include candidates for House and Senate, including several in critical frontline and Red-to-Blue races that are key to Democrats’ efforts to maintain control of Congress.
“Last week, President Biden warned the nation that ‘Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic’ — we couldn’t agree more,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “That’s why we are proud to endorse another group of bold pro-Israel candidates who are deeply committed to upholding the Constitution, leading with integrity, and protecting our cherished Democratic values, which includes safeguarding and strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship.
“We’re confident our candidates can defeat their extreme MAGA opponents — because being pro-Israel is both wise policy and good politics. We’re thrilled to support such a diverse and distinguished slate of pro-Israel Democrats,” added Mellman.
“I’m so proud to be endorsed by DMFI PAC,” said Rep. Val Demings (FL). “Israel is a beacon of freedom and our shared U.S.-Israeli values, and I will continue to be a pro-Israel champion in the United States Senate.”
“I am honored to have the support of DMFI PAC for this important fight,” said State Senator Annette Taddeo (FL-27). “Our shared commitment to Democratic values has helped form the bond that America and Israel enjoy. In Congress, I will be an unwavering champion of Israel’s defense and work to grow our special relationship.”
In addition to endorsing Senators Mark Kelly (AZ) and Maggie Hassan (NH), who are locked in tight races for re-election against MAGA Republicans who support Trump’s 2020 Election lies, DMFI PAC is also endorsing four candidates in critical frontline House races, including Reps. Sharice Davids (KS-03), Susie Lee (NV-03), Kim Schrier (WA-08), and Abigail Spanberger (VA-07). DMFI PAC is endorsing several candidates listed in the DCCC’s Red to Blue program, including Francis Conole (NY-22), Commissioner Val Hoyle (OR-04), Former Congressman Max Rose (NY-11), State Rep. Emilia Sykes (OH-13), State Sen. Annette Taddeo (FL-27), State Sen. Tony Vargas (NE-02), and Robert Zimmerman (NY-03).
Also endorsed by DMFI PAC is Laura Gillen in New York’s 4th District, who is running to continue the legacy of retiring Congresswoman Katherine Clark, a stalwart supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship.

DMFI PAC exclusively supports Democratic candidates who reflect the diversity of our country, work to advance the Biden-Harris agenda, and support a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. In the 2022 primary election season, DMFI PAC helped pro-Israel Democrats win 85% of the races in which it endorsed, and more than 74% of the PAC’s independent expenditures have helped candidates of color.
In July, DMFI PAC announced its first wave of General Election endorsees for the 2022 cycle. A full list of DMFI PAC endorsees is available here.
