DMFI PAC today announced it will be airing a new ad supporting Vice President Joe Biden, starting today in Florida, and then in other battleground states across the country.

The ad, targeted to pro-Israel voters, features the vice president describing his commitment to strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, backed by quotes from American and Israeli officials. The ad will begin running on digital and streaming properties.

“As senator and vice president, Joe Biden has proven he will fight for Democratic priorities like affordable healthcare, quality education, racial justice, limiting climate change, and for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “The first debate revealed just how vital it is to restore the soul of our nation. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are uniquely suited to this mission.”

“DMFI PAC was the first pro-Israel organization to endorse Vice President Biden’s candidacy during the primary season, and we are working tirelessly to help him defeat Donald Trump’s hateful agenda.”

“Vice President Biden’s electoral success also demonstrates that, despite the predictions of some, supporting a strong U.S.-Israel relationship is good politics, as well as smart policy,” Mellman added.

As a freshman senator, in 1973, Joe Biden visited Israel, during his first trip abroad, meeting with then Prime Minister Golda Meir, and her staff, which included future Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Since then, Biden has worked with every Israeli Prime Minister to strengthen Israel’s security and fortify the U.S.-Israel alliance.

As vice president, Biden championed Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, which has saved countless Israeli and Palestinian lives as Hamas has launched over 15,000 rockets from Gaza at Israeli civilians. He also played a key role in negotiating the Obama-Biden Administration’s ten-year Memorandum of Understanding, which codified the largest-ever level of U.S. security assistance to Israel.
