Tonight, DMFI PAC congratulates State Senators Don Davis (NC-01) and Valerie Foushee (NC-04) on their primary victories in North Carolina. DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman released the following statement following their wins:
“We congratulate State Sens. Don Davis and Valerie Foushee on their primary victories tonight, along with DMFI PAC-endorsed candidate Rep. Kathy Manning (NC-06).
“Sen. Foushee is a devoted public servant, a dedicated community volunteer, and a champion for working families, and DMFI PAC was proud to endorse her campaign for Congress.
“North Carolinians, and the country as a whole, will be well-served with Sen. Davis — a veteran, former educator, and minister — in Congress fighting for our Democratic priorities, including a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.
“With DMFI PAC’s support, Sen. Davis beat State Sen. Erica Smith in North Carolina’s 1st District, while voters in North Carolina’s 4th District wisely rejected the divisive politics represented by Sen. Foushee’s opponent, who was endorsed by some of the most anti-Israel voices on the far left. Tonight’s results demonstrate yet again that being pro-Israel is not only wise policy but good politics.”
In NC-01, DMFI PAC supported Sen. Davis with a multifaceted independent expenditure campaign, airing ads on cable television, radio, and on multiple digital platforms. The digital ad garnered nearly 1 million completed views.
In NC-04, DMFI also supported Sen. Foushee with an independent expenditure campaign, highlighting the many ways she’s helped communities in Chapel Hill, Durham, and throughout the 4th District, airing an ad on cable television and radio, as well as a digital ad on multiple platforms. DMFI PAC’s digital ad alone garnered nearly two million completed views.
DMFI PAC has played a vital role in supporting pro-Israel Democrats since its inception, backing President Biden, as well as victors in 83 House and Senate races last cycle.
