Tonight, DMFI PAC President Brian Romick released the following statement:

“Congratulations to the pro-Israel Democrats elected to the 120th Congress. Voters gave Democrats majorities in both chambers, and with them the power to check President Trump’s disastrous agenda and deliver on what families care about most: affordability, health care and good jobs.

“I’d like to extend a special congratulations to our DMFI PAC Majority Project endorsees who won their hard-fought, majority-making races. In the House that includes Paige Cognetti (PA-08), Cait Conley (NY-17), Pia Dandiya (FL-22), Elaine Luria (VA-02), Bobby Pulido (TX-15), Janelle Stelson (PA-10), and Marni von Wilpert (CA-48).

“In the Senate, Senators-elect Roy Cooper of North Carolina and Chris Pappas of New Hampshire helped deliver the majority. In addition, pro-Israel Democrats in the Congressional Black Caucus have also been among the party’s strongest coalition builders, and we were proud to support Don Davis (NC-01) and Shomari Figures (AL-02) after Republican legislatures redrew their districts in an attempt to defeat them. But voters saw right through it.

“DMFI PAC is the only organization that was both committed to electing pro-Israel Democrats and taking back the majorities in Congress. Our decision to back candidates with a record of winning tough general elections and building broad coalitions was proven in this cycle. We look forward to working with Caucus leadership to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship and advance U.S. interests.”
