DMFI PAC ran digital advertisements to support Amo

Today, DMFI PAC congratulated Rep.-Elect Gabe Amo on his election victory in Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District and on becoming the first person of color to represent Rhode Island in Congress.

“We’re pleased to congratulate Rep.-Elect Amo, a proud pro-Israel, Millennial Democrat, on his historic special election victory,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “We look forward to working with him in Congress where he’ll join the vast majority of Democrats in fighting for the Democratic agenda, including strengthening the U.S.-Israel alliance.”

On October 7th, in the wake of Hamas’ brutal attack that left 1,400 Israelis dead, Rep.-Elect Amo expressed his sympathy with Israel and committed to “stand in firm support of Israel and their security” if elected to Congress. He also praised President Biden’s response to the attacks and reiterated his call to “defend democracy around the globe by standing with Ukraine and Israel.”

DMFI PAC ran an Independent Expenditure campaign comprised of digital ads targeting pro-Israel voters in Amo’s district.

During the 2022 Midterm Election, DMFI PAC helped bring 21 brand-new pro-Israel Democrats to the 118th Congress — with over 80% of its endorsed candidates winning their races — and helped defeat anti-Israel candidates. Some 77% of the PAC’s spending supported candidates of color.
