DMFI PAC, the political voice of pro-Israel Democrats, congratulates its endorsees on their primary election victories last night. DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman released the following statement:
“Last night, Democratic voters in three states elected six DMFI PAC endorsees to fight for them in November, bringing our winning record to 85% of the races in which we’ve endorsed this cycle. The victors last night include Millennial lawmaker and pro-Israel champion, Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11).
“We were thrilled to support Congresswoman Stevens, who emerged victorious in her primary election with support from a DMFI PAC independent expenditure campaign.
“We also congratulate Sens. Mark Kelly and Patty Murray, steadfast supporters of the U.S.-Israel relationship, as well as Washington Congressmen Derek Kilmer, Rick Larsen, and Adam Smith, for advancing to the general election.”
“Each DMFI PAC candidate is committed to the Democratic agenda — including a strong U.S.-Israel relationship — and knows that being pro-Israel is not just wise policy, it’s good politics,” Mellman added.
In MI-11, DMFI PAC supported Rep. Haley Stevens with an independent expenditure campaign featuring digital ads highlighting her endorsement by the Detroit Free Press.
Other DMFI PAC candidates advancing to the general election include Senators Mark Kelly (AZ) and Patty Murray (WA); Representatives Derek Kilmer (WA-06), Rick Larsen (WA-02), and Adam Smith (WA-09).
DMFI PAC has played a vital role in supporting pro-Israel Democrats since its inception, backing President Biden, as well as victors in 83 House and Senate races last cycle. The PAC endorses Democratic candidates for federal office who reflect America’s diversity, work to advance the Biden-Harris agenda, and support a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. In the 2022 primaries, more than 75% of DMFI PAC IEs have helped candidates of color. In July, DMFI PAC announced its first wave of General Election endorsees for the 2022 cycle.
