Today, DMFI PAC congratulated Rep.-Elect Jennifer McClellan on her election victory in Virginia’s 4th Congressional District and on becoming the first Black woman ever to represent Virginia in Congress.
“We’re delighted to congratulate Rep.-Elect McClellan, a dedicated and inspiring public servant, on her historic win,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “We look forward to working with her in Congress as she fights for the Democratic agenda, including strengthening the U.S.-Israel alliance.”
Rep.-Elect McClellan supports a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and opposes antisemitic movements like the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement, which seek to unfairly malign and delegitimize the world’s only Jewish state. DMFI PAC was proud to support her in the primary and, in the general election, with an independent expenditure campaign targeting pro-Israel Democrats in the district.
During the 2021-22 election cycle, DMFI PAC helped bring 21 new pro-Israel Democrats to the 118th Congress with over 80% of its endorsed candidates winning their races. DMFI PAC and its affiliates raised over $12.4 million during the cycle to support pro-Israel Democrats. 100% of those dollars supported pro-Israel Democrats and some 77% supported candidates of color.
