DMFI PAC today congratulates its endorsee Yassamin Ansari on her primary victory in Arizona’s 3rd District. Ansari, the former vice mayor of Phoenix and the first Iranian American elected to public office in the state of Arizona, is a proud pro-Israel progressive.
“Yassamin is a champion for working Arizonans and is committed to fighting for the Democratic agenda, including strengthening the mutually beneficial U.S.-Israel relationship,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “Her hard-won victory over her well-funded anti-Israel opponent proves again that being pro-Israel is not just wise policy, but also winning politics.”
DMFI PAC was heavily involved in the race, undertaking a comprehensive digital and broadcast advertising program in Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District that generated nearly 5.2 million views by voters.
Following victory against her extreme anti-Israel opponent, Yassamin Ansari is favored to win in this deep-blue seat in November and will join the vast majority of congressional Democrats who support a strong U.S.-Israel alliance.
