DMFI PAC endorses Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way in NJ-11 Special Election
DMFI PAC today announced its endorsement of New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way in the special election for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.
“Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way has demonstrated principled leadership and moral clarity in New Jersey at a time when the Jewish community is facing a disturbing rise in antisemitism, and we are proud to endorse her campaign for Congress,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Brian Romick. “She has been clear and consistent in her support for the U.S.-Israel relationship and for adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism, making clear she understands the importance of confronting antisemitism in all its forms, without equivocation.”
“I’m proud to have the support of DMFI PAC as I run for Congress in New Jersey’s Eleventh District,” said Tahesha Way. “As Republicans continue to undermine our democratic institutions, Americans deserve leaders who will defend the rule of law and stand with democratic partners around the world. As New Jersey’s Secretary of State and Lieutenant Governor, I oversaw the New Jersey-Israel Commission, strengthening cooperation rooted in our shared democratic values. In Congress, I’ll build on that work—defending democracy, standing with our allies, and delivering for New Jersey families.”
Throughout her career in public service, Lt. Gov. Way has been a strong supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship and the shared democratic values that underpin it. She has spoken about Israel as a key democratic ally and has emphasized the importance of maintaining robust U.S. security assistance to ensure Israel’s ability to defend itself. Way has also made clear that adopting the IHRA definition is a necessary tool to effectively identify and combat modern antisemitism, including efforts to single out or delegitimize Israel. Her record reflects a commitment to standing with Israel abroad and with the Jewish community at home.
