DMFI PAC today announced it will begin airing a new ad supporting Michigan Senator Gary Peters in his bid for reelection. The six-figure ad buy will run on digital and streaming, targeting constituents in northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
The ad, titled “In Your Corner,” focuses on Senator Peters’ record fighting for lower prescription drug costs and protecting preexisting conditions. Senator Peters supports expanding the Affordable Care Act to include a Medicare public option for middle-class families.
“Senator Peters is well known by his Senate colleagues as a workhorse, delivering for Michiganders on health care, prescription drug prices, workers’ rights, and much more,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “He is also a steadfast supporter of the U.S.-Israel alliance,” added Mellman. “We’re stepping in to make sure Michigan voters understand that they have a champion in their corner in Gary Peters.”
Senator Peters, a former U.S. Navy reservist, served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 until his election as U.S. senator in 2014. DMFI PAC previously endorsed Peters in June.
