DMFI PAC today announced it has begun airing a new ad highlighting that Sara Jacobs is out of touch with her community. Jacobs owns millions in stock in drug companies that have raised prices during the coronavirus pandemic, hurting families struggling in the recession. While Jacobs owns multimillion-dollar residences around the country, she doesn’t own property in the district from which she is running.
DMFI PAC has endorsed her opponent, San Diego City Council President Georgette Gómez, in the race for California’s 53rd Congressional district. Gómez has supported families and workers during the pandemic, she has banned police chokeholds, and stood up to Donald Trump’s hateful agenda.
The six-figure ad buy will run on cable television and digital streaming platforms in San Diego.
