DMFI PAC today announced its third round of primary endorsements, including new House and U.S. Senate candidates in the 2022 Midterm election cycle.

“As Democrats across the country prepare to go to the polls to decide their nominees for Congress, DMFI PAC is thrilled to announce our third slate of primary endorsees, each of whom believes in — and has demonstrated the willingness to fight for — a strong U.S.-Israel relationship,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “With this latest round of endorsements, DMFI PAC will have endorsed nearly 50 well-qualified, diverse, pro-Israel Democratic candidates for House and Senate — candidates who know well that being pro-Israel is both good policy and good politics.”

The 12 DMFI PAC-endorsed candidates announced today include state and local lawmakers as well as incumbent House members and senators, including several senators in critical battleground states, such as Sens. Mark Kelly in Arizona, Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire, and Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada, whose races will help decide which party controls the Senate.

The candidates endorsed today by DMFI PAC include:

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of DMFI PAC releasing its first TV ad of the 2022 election cycle for Rep. Shontel Brown in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District last week. The ad, titled “Moving Forward,” highlights Rep. Brown’s accomplishments in just 5 months in Congress, including support for nearly $2 billion for infrastructure projects in Ohio and cosponsoring over 50 bills to protect Ohio families.

DMFI PAC played a vital role in supporting pro-Israel Democrats since its inception, backing winners in the contest for president — as well as victories in 83 House and Senate races. Our primary endorsees won 28 of 29 primary elections in which we were involved. In 2021, DMFI PAC played a pivotal role in helping Congresswoman Shontel Brown defeat Nina Turner.

As races develop, DMFI PAC will announce additional endorsements for both primary and general elections in the 2022 Midterm cycle.
