DMFI PAC today announced it will begin airing a new ad that highlights Republican Andrew Garbarino’s damaging record as a New York State Assemblyman where he sided with corporations, voting against reducing the cost of prescription drugs and against protections for those with pre-existing conditions.
DMFI PAC has endorsed his opponent, Jackie Gordon, in the race for New York’s 2nd Congressional District. Ms. Gordon is a combat veteran, educator and longtime community leader. She would flip a congressional seat from red to blue, strengthening the Democratic majority in the House.
“Jackie Gordon is a distinguished public servant, a champion for Long Island families and for all Americans,” said DMFI PAC Chairman Mark Mellman. “She is also a strong supporter of the U.S.-Israel alliance,” Mellman added. “We are thrilled to support her candidacy against a corporate backed Republican who has made it harder for families to afford their medications.”
The six-figure ad buy will run on digital and streaming platforms in the Long Island district.
